HUNTER’S CREEK FLORIDA.
Hunter's Creek is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in suburban
Orange County, Florida, United States. It is part of the
Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The
population was 14,321 at the 2010 census. It is based around a large planned
community named Hunter's Creek, though the CDP name given by the United States
Census Bureau lacks the apostrophe.
The majority
of the community was built in the late 1980s, and 1990s, and some of the
community is still under construction.

As of the
census of 2000, there were 9,369 people, 3,460 households, and 2,498 families
residing in the CDP. The population density was 841.3/km² (2,176.5/mi²). There
were 3,870 housing units at an average density of 347.5/km² (899.0/mi²). The
racial makeup of the CDP was 81.84% White, 5.18% African American, 0.14% Native
American, 7.16% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 3.02% from other races, and
2.64% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 13.83% of the
population.
There were
3,460 households out of which 37.7% had children under the age of 18 living
with them, 62.3% were married couples living together, 6.7% had a female
householder with no husband present, and 27.8% were non-families. 19.2% of all
households were made up of individuals and 2.2% had someone living alone who
was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the

In the CDP
the population was spread out with 26.2% under the age of 18, 7.0% from 18 to
24, 37.3% from 25 to 44, 23.4% from 45 to 64, and 6.2% who were 65 years of age
or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 97.7
males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.3 males.
The median
income for a household in the CDP was $67,775, and the median income for a
family was $76,323. Males had a median income of $51,625 versus $35,625 for
females. The per capita income for the CDP was $29,170. About 3.2% of families
and 4.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.8% of those
